Alba Medina

Alba holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from ITESM in Mexico City. Two years ago she was appointed Vice-president of the Board of Grupo Fame, a private holding company comprised of car dealerships, urban planning and real estate developments, as well as financial, healthcare and entertainment services. Alba has gained a broad real estate understanding in Mexico while engaging in the development of multiple urban planning projects. She was particularly involved in the development of the first public golf course in Mexico, and the construction and operation of the second largest shopping mall in the country.
Previously, Alba has worked as an equity research analyst of infrastructure companies in Mexico, and as an investment banker and private banker at Credit Suisse. During her leisure time, Alba enjoys traveling, reading, listening to classical music, and engaging in community service.
While at MIT, Alba intends to become a well-rounded professional with a solid understanding of hard skills in real estate. Her ultimate goal is to increase the quality of real estate developments in Mexico and Latin America, in order to positively impact the quality of life of people.
