Jing has been working as a project architect and junior project manager in Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates in Atlanta since she graduated from Columbia University nine years ago. Working on a wide range of high profile projects across four different continents has exposed Jing to many different areas of the design industry, and has enabled her to acquire a broad architectural and managerial experience. Highlighted projects include 180,000 m2 New China International Exhibition Center, 760,000 m2 Weihai Sunnyworld Weiden Village, $22M San Francisco Marriott Ballroom Renovation, $45M Hilton Mclean Tysons Corner Public Space and Guestroom Renovation, Gaylord Opryland Convention Center Expansion, Dubai Business Peal Master Plan and Dubai Towers.
Four years ago, Jing became a front-line person in Asia business acquisition and helped her company launch its first and also the world’s largest commercial complex, a 350,000 m2 Tianjin Galaxy Mall in China, which was opened to public in 2012.
While at MIT, Jing seeks to expand her knowledge of real estate finance, economics, and gain a solid foundation in development.
