L. Bernard Harkless
Bernard began his career working for Clark Construction Group, LLC, one of the largest general contractors in the US. As a Project Engineer, he was responsible for managing the on-site compliance of contractor work which covers a wide spectrum of trades from painting subcontractors to mechanical, electrical and plumbing. Some of his past projects include the Shakespeare Theatre Harman Center for the Arts and the Montgomery College Science Center in Rockville, MD.
Currently, Bernard is a dual degree candidate, concurrently pursuing his MSRED in addition to a Master in City Planning from MIT’s Department of Urban Studies and Planning. He received a BS in Architecture from the University of Virginia.
