Meng began her career in China Property Research Center of Centaline Group as an analyst soon after she acquired the bachelor degree in Statistics from East China Normal University (ECNU) in Shanghai in 2008. There in the Research Center she applied her knowledge of statistics to developing the research tools and methods, such as data acquiring approach and database setup. Being successful in the previous one, she was soon promoted to take over the research work on listed developers to be optimized.
Two years later, Meng joined Forte Co., a real estate developer. As a strategic planner, she was responsible for profound studies on the market and competitors for the strategic planning. She actively participated in building statistical models to evaluate potential cities for yearly investments and ensured the quality of the strategic plans.
While in MIT, Meng is enthusiastic in equipping herself with the knowledge related to the real estate industry, especially finance, which is exactly what she is interested in.
Meng’s favorite things in her spare time are reading and sports. Meng is a Yoga enthusiast, and loves swimming and running as well.
