Born and raised in England, Oliver studied Civil Engineering at the University of Exeter. Following graduation he started his career for Kier, a large contractor in London working for four years across residential and commercial properties. He led a range of activities including construction management, technical leadership and winning new work. During this time he also sailed around the world competing in a yacht race.
At the beginning of 2012, Oliver moved to the Arabian Peninsula to join the British design consultancy Atkins in Abu Dhabi. He has worked on projects across the region as a Designer Engineer, Design Manager and Project Manager. The breadth of experience gained in this time spans from shopping malls to a nuclear power station.
While at MIT, Oliver is looking forward to expanding his knowledge of real estate finance, economics and gain the strongest possible foundation in development.
Oliver enjoys sailing, cycling and skiing in his spare time.
