With an LLB and a BA in accounting, as well as a rich background as a TA and RA (which spans to present and includes tutoring a course in the areas of real-estate finance and investment), Omer became a senior associate at KPMG Israel in 2006. Partaking in several financial due diligence and high-profile advisory engagements focused on real-estate, he conducted quarterly and annual reviews for a leading real-estate corporation, dealt with accounting and financial aspects of an Israeli conglomerate’s $7 BN acquisition of real-estate in Las Vegas, Nevada, planned and formulated a tax-efficient holding structure of $250M investments in European real-state, and partook in various accounting, tax, and financial aspects related to the $1.4 BN IPO of AFI Development PLC in London Stock Exchange. By 2009, he had obtained his CPA and an MBA in Finance.
In 2009, Omer joined the Corporate M&A and Securities Dept at Herzog, Fox & Neeman, a premier Israeli law firm. Here, he advised and handled the legal and financial issues of a large Israeli real-estate fund in its US investment structure, managed legal and financial issues related to company acquisition of large US-based multifamily complexes, and assisted in drafting an IPO prospectus to raise $500M in equity at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange for the Azrieli Group, a powerful commercial real-estate company. In 2010, Omer joined the Israeli Bar Association as an attorney.
In 2011, he became a supervisor / manager with PwC Israel’s Corporate Finance and Financial Advisory Services Dept. There, he handled the drafting of independent expert opinions of value and was team member of various financial valuation projects, including some of Israel’s largest real-estate corporations.
On a more personal note, Omer is an American citizen married to Yael, a financial industry player, and is the proud father of one-year-old heart-breaker Danielle.
