Peter was born and raised in Ghana. He graduated from Swarthmore College with a degree in Mathematics. He has been in the real estate sector for almost 3 years in various capacities with Jones Lang LaSalle. Most recently, he has been very involved in the development of the JLL platform in sub-Saharan Africa. Additionally, he has assisted one of their key clients, Standard Chartered Bank, with the disposition of their non-core real estate assets in Ghana.
Prior to relocating to Ghana in late 2013, he worked as an analyst for 2 years at LaSalle Investment Management, in Chicago. As the senior analyst on the LaSalle Property Fund, he played a key role in numerous dispositions and assisted on portfolio level strategy and analysis. He also led the team on their sustainability exploits and helped achieve LEED and Energy Star ratings for Office and Industrial properties in San Francisco, Chicago, Baltimore, and Washington DC.
Prior to joining the Jones Lang LaSalle family, he was a financial analyst at the Henry M Jackson Foundation, a medical research foundation located in Bethesda, MD.
