Director of MIT Center for Real Estate, Prof. Frenchman op-ed in the Boston Globe on energy labels for U.S. homes

March 2nd, 2020 – Boston Globe publishes an op-ed from MIT/CRE Director Dennis Frenchman entitled, “Seeing green when buying a house”. The piece is in support of a Green Energy labeling system for the U.S. home-buyer market. Research from the Netherlands Central Bank suggests homes with energy labels sell for a premium and can help people be more conscious of home energy consumption. Read the full piece here:
