Arash (Ari) Arbabi
Arash (Ari) joins MIT with 8 years of experience as a construction professional with a deep background in project management in both heavy civil and building construction. Ari earned his Master’s degree in Construction Management from Northeastern University, and since then worked on many notable projects such as Boston Medical Center Campus Re-design, and Union Point Development. He most recently worked at Tocci Building Corporation as Project Controls Manager, where he was responsible for strategizing, forecasting, and overseeing progress of work. Under this role, he worked on several large residential and hotel development projects in MA, RI, and NJ including some modular projects.
Ari’s interest in real estate and youth engagement in family real estate development business enabled him to carry out real estate development for his own account as he holds a portfolio of multi-family units throughout Boston.
Passionate about building cities of the future, Ari has two objectives while at MITCRE. Broadening his understanding of real estate finance as it relates to deal structures and ground-up development, but also to work with innovators and entrepreneurs and identify ways to drive development in commercial real estate through innovative means.
Ari was born and raised in Tehran, Iran but spent the majority of his career in Boston. He loves skiing, biking, playing tennis and exploring new places.
