From Rye, NY, James joins MIT with 7 years of finance experience. James’s interest in real estate was initiated with a philanthropic commitment and has blossomed into a life-changing career path. His foray into real estate began with his selection to Morgan Stanley’s Strategy Challenge, Morgan Stanley’s annual signature pro bono program, partnering nonprofit organizations in the New York Metro Area with cross-divisional teams of top-performing employees to address key strategic questions. He led a team at Bridge Street Development Corporation, a not-for-profit real estate organization dedicated to building partnerships with the public and private community of central Brooklyn, to increase low-income housing opportunities. While participating in this program, James’s business life was consumed with sales and trading of a variety of equity instruments across the globe. He received his B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Villanova University.
At MIT, James plans to deepen his understanding of real estate Finance and entrepreneurship. He is pursuing graduate education in hopes of establishing himself as a real estate developer, investor, and entrepreneur.
When free, James enjoys hitting the golf course, playing hockey, and supporting his beloved New York and Villanova sport teams.
