Stephanie (Ye) Zhou
Stephanie comes to MIT after 6 years of project management experience in Jones Lang LaSalle, a leading professional real estate services provider. As a project manager, she oversaw design, procurement, construction and testing and commissioning for office, retail and mixed use development projects with a total GFA around 9,500,000 square feet. Stephanie has been involved in business development as well and successfully secured two key projects, which contribute to 20% of the department’s annual revenue.
Stephanie received a Bachelor degree in Project Management from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics in China, and a M.S. in Construction Management from Michigan State University. Stephanie dedicates her career to investing and reviving underutilized properties so that they can serve more people and serve people better. Consequently, the need for new developments could be reduced and more green lands could be reserved for a sustainable future. At MIT, Stephanie plans to develop her knowledge base across all aspects of real estate. She has particular interests in learning the financial analysis skills for property investment and the innovative methods to improve property value.
Stephanie loves traveling in her spare time and has been to 71 cities in 12 countries. She also enjoy reading philosophy books.
