Teri Ford

Teri joins MIT as a construction professional interested in broadening her understanding of real estate finance as it relates to deal structures and ground-up development. Teri has a BS in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University with a concentration in structural design.  She also earned a Certificate in Real Estate Development Finance from Boston University. Teri recently completed the Boston Chamber of Commerce Women’s Leadership Program and remains an active member of CoreNet New England.

Professionally, Teri works as a Project Manager for Gilbane Building Company specializing in corporate interior construction for existing high-rise buildings in the Boston and Cambridge markets. Through participating in sales pursuits and working closely with clients and developers alike, her interest in the financial and deal underpinnings of corporate real estate grew. Teri’s interest in construction is also homegrown; working part-time the past 5 years in a family construction and development business.

Teri is a Massachusetts native who enjoys running and has spent over 15 years competing in the local horse show circuit. She is also a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson and a regular volunteer for the ACE mentoring program in Boston.
